Qwood continues to evolve

Quantum Profiles Systems Ltd. continues to lead the market and innovate with their Qwood brand. Qwood is a range profiles for the timber window and door industry. Over the last ten years the Qwood range has been the first to bring out wood plastic composite (WPC) sliding sash profiles, casement window beads and door mouldings. Now Qwood is proud to launch the first WPC click in parting and staff beads, both systems have a patent pending (GB15204332) and these new beads are an addition to the 18mm bonding bar, ovolo bar and 18mm pinned glazing bead profiles launched earlier in the year.

The Qwood parting and staff beads remove the need for pinning and filling. This means the finish is enhanced, yet time is saved and costs are reduced. The click in staff bead is an innovation that is designed to make fitting easier whilst also improving the draft proofing due to the novel design of the bead. The unique click in systems means both beads are removable from the inside only for ease of maintenance or repair. 

Using Qwood means there is no need to use white uPVC parting beads on sliding sash windows any more. Qwood can be painted just like timber, thereby allowing a window to be completely finished in whatever colour the customer wants. The Qwood click in systems will last the life of the window itself.
