Qwood to help UK joinery ‘build it better with wood’ at BWF Members’ Day 2018

Qwood has been announced as Silver Sponsor for the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) Members’ Day conference on 13th June 2018.

BWF Members’ Day is an integral part of the UK joinery industry calendar where attendees meet to address the sector’s latest challenges and receive practical advice on issues relevant to all types of woodworking company. This year’s event will take place at Hellidon Lakes Golf & Spa Hotel near Daventry.

The key theme of Members’ Day 2018 will be ‘Build it Betterwith Wood’, as BWF sets out to promote the woodworking sector and set a challenge to drive businesses to be even better at what they do. Those attending the event will now have an opportunity to see at first-hand how Qwood’s bead innovations can help them as these are to be showcased to delegates in a free exhibition.

Qwood Marketing Manager Tim Hayes said:

“As Associate Members of the BWF we are able to provide the support that joinery businesses need in order to ‘build it better with wood’. We are delighted to be Silver Sponsors of this long-established event and will be demonstrating how our unique Qwood technology can aid the UK woodworking industry."

About Qwood

Qwood produces a range of composite timber profiles that are integrated into windows and doors to add beauty and enhance performance. The profiles secure the glazing in place, whilst enabling suitable ventilation around the double-glazing unit.

Qwood composite beads, bars and moulds replace the use of traditional soft wood timber components to provide an improved solution that reduces labour, waste and ongoing maintenance requirements. By fitting Qwood profiles joiners save both time and money
