CASE STUDY: Stanbrook and Nicholson

  • Stanbrook and Nicholson

Stanbrook and Nicholson – Experts in Window Joinery since 2006 and a Qwood partner.

Based in a new state-of-the-art 20,000 sq. ft.  workshop in West Molesey near Kingston-upon-Thames, Stanbrook and Nicholson manufacture and install bespoke quality timber windows and doors for commercial and residential properties throughout the south east of England.

Sustainability is part of the company’s ethos. Using only quality timber from sustainable and renewable sources, Stanbrook and Nicholson windows and doors are guaranteed to last and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Stanbrook and Nicholson recognise that the Qwood wood composite accessory profiles helps the company to achieve its environmental objectives. At the same time, they enhance the quality and longevity of the windows and doors by keeping waste to a minimum, and ensuring post installation low maintenance.

Qwood glazing beads and bars, and staff and parting beads, are natural accessories for a quality joiner like Stanbrook and Nicholson. They are straight, don’t rot or have any knots. They are fabricated like standard timber and have been tested to accept all the usual painting processes.

These features save a joiner time, create less waste and consequently help yield better returns. Quality is not compromised. Qwood can also offer FSC and PEFC chain of custody which underlines the environmental credentials that Stanbrook and Nicholson require to meet their sustainability goals.

Ben Stanbrook and Simon Nicholson say, ‘Our partnership with Qwood really has helped add value to our products and our business – without any compromise to quality or sustainability.’
